I grew up listening to The Killer because my dad is such a HUGE fan! I have childhood memories of him imitating JLL’s piano skills on the dash of the car with so much intensity that I didn’t see how his fingers didn’t damage anything. Several times he would use quotes from the movie Great Balls of Fire! I personally can quote EVERY WORD of that movie! One of my favorite lines: ‘Follow That Killer!’ I even use that line a time or two with my own kids, it’s just a necessity for me in my home haha!! Another childhood memory i have was when my dad loading up my mom, my sister and me and us traveling up to North Mississippi because he was adamant about going to your property, getting out and going to knock on your door. When we got to the house, he chickened out (let’s be honest here, he FREAKED out! Haha) and we left to head back home to central MS. He’s even taken us to Ferriday to tour the area.
To this day, my dad will still pull up videos and anything else Jerry Lee Lewis related and play it, on repeat! We’ve had much entertainment watching dad imitate JLL’s dancing, piano playing and singing. My dad’s 71st Birthday is June 6th and I would love to bring him to the Cafe’ now that I know there is one (thanks Facebook!)
I love rock and roll. I grew up listening to Jerry Lee., Elvis, and Johnny Cash. I meet and became friends with Jason years ago. He is a great artist and musician, Just like Jerry Lee Jason known how to get a joint Rockin
I saw Jason preform when he came back to Massachusetts last October he got his local fans and friends rockin and I had a great night. I hope some day in the future I get out to Tennessee and when I do My first stop will be to the Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe to see Jerry Lee and Jason preform. Keep on Rockin. Your fan from Massachusetts.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw Jerry perform. It was a clip of a T.V show, though I cant remember which, but he was playing the piano so hard that I thought his hair might come off. I watched it over and over and all I could think was how great it must be to play with such passion and fury. No one will ever match the Killer!
Hope you’re back to full health Jerry, would love to be at you’re New year’s eve show at the Cafe. So many great memories and shows from the Vapors Club to the birthday parties at your Ranch and to the London Palladium, fantastic nights that have introduced me to many Jerry Lee fans that have become friends. I thank you for you’re unique style of music and the few times I have met you in person, great memories that will live with me forever. God bless you Jerry.
It has been a life long dream of mine to see the greatest musician that very lives. I remember the first time I heard that piano and the immediate good feeling it brought. There has never been another artist with as much power or the ability to move people the way the killer can.

Always stop in here when I’m in Memphis. I’ve seen Jason James so many times he probably thinks I’m a stalker. Love the bar! Get well, Killer!
